ADDITIONAL ROTARY ENGINE MODIFICATIONS

Chips Motorsports offers an array of additional Rotary Engine Modifications for your engine build. Specializing in 12A 2-Rotor, 13B 2-Rotor & 20B 3-Rotor motors – we can provide service that enhances performance as well as longevity.

 

Intake O-Ring Machining

This service eliminates the use of paper or steel gaskets for any round intake system. The OEM paper or steel gaskets tend to leak at around 12-13PSI of boost pressure and leak more and more as the pressure increases.

To eliminate this problem, O-ring groves can me machined into the mating surface and the use of O-rings will stop any pressure loss experienced with paper or metal gaskets.

 

Oil Pump Cavity CNC Machining

This service removes the inconsistent casting left behind from the factory and is instead finished with a smoothed consistent surface. In addition, we add a grooves for an O-Ring to best seal the oil pump to housing.

The original cavity along with the new machined surface have been flow tested using SOLIDWORKS simulation resulting in 23% more flow over stock.

A must for high demand racing applications.

Dynamic Engine Balancing

In order to ensure the highest level of performance, we offer a Dynamic Engine Balancing Service.  Dynamic Engine Balancing is offered in both OEM specific balancing as well as race specific balancing.  Race Balance service includes weight balanced and matched rotors along with the entire final assembly balance.

 

Part / Hardware Recondition

Making a motor look as good as it runs is important to us. We offer this service for practically any part, hardware or fastener. We clean, strip, and replate to OEM spec (or better) to ensure smooth installation and even better looks.
